Head of Data

What brought you to Redstone and when did you start?

I first joined Redstone in 2021 as a Data Scientist and Software Engineer. After a stint at a startup, I returned in 2026 as Head of Data. What brought me back was the opportunity to shape how AI and technology are embedded into Redstone's core processes. I strongly believe that a well-built tech function can fundamentally enhance how a VC operates - from sourcing and research to portfolio support - and Redstone is the right place to realize that potential.

What are your main responsibilities in the team?

As Head of Data, I lead Redstone’s tech and data initiatives. This includes identifying processes across the firm that can be automated or enhanced through technology, defining the roadmap, and working hands-on with the team to implement scalable solutions. The goal is to turn manual, time-consuming workflows into systems that are efficient, data-driven, and sustainable.

What innovation will change the future in a positive way?

I think AI agents will be one of the most transformative innovations of our time. We're moving from AI that answers questions to AI that actually takes action - autonomously handling complex, multi-step tasks that used to require a lot of human time and effort. In venture capital specifically, this could mean agents that continuously monitor markets, surface relevant deals, enrich data, and support decision-making in ways that were simply not possible before. The exciting part isn't just the efficiency gain - it's that it frees people up to focus on the work that actually requires human judgment and relationships.

How do you relax/clear your mind?

I like to keep it simple - hitting the gym, doing core exercises, and spending time with my dog. Physical activity is my main reset button.

Whats your favorite lifehack to share?

Protect your sleep like it's your most important meeting of the day. It sounds basic, but most people treat sleep as the first thing to sacrifice when life gets busy - and it's actually the foundation everything else runs on. Good sleep sharpens your focus, improves your mood, and makes you significantly more effective at whatever you're working on. Once I started taking it seriously, the difference was noticeable almost immediately.
