2017, in the early days. Before that I was doing M&A in London. I was looking for a team where I actually fit in personally, and where the structure wasn’t rigid. Redstone was that. I could settle in quickly and actually help shape where the firm was going, instead of just executing someone else’s plan.

As GP I lead several of our investment strategies and sit on the investment committee for a number of funds. Started in FinTech, now also AI, DeepTech, Health & Education. On top of that I handle a lot of the new fund and strategy launches and fundraising.

The physical layer of AI, how it shows up in intelligent machines and actually changes our lives, not just software. Quantum computing and new energy sources will be the catalysts that push that forward.

Surfing and golf, mainly. Both feel like meditation to me. Otherwise a good dinner with friends or bingeing a show.

Honestly, just a reminder to myself: be grateful.
