Before Redstone, I had already been in Venture Capital for 12 years and had been part of more than 50 investments. When speaking to Redstone, I became quite intrigued by the approach of “data science meets investment management.” Now on board for almost two years, our data-driven approach and running sector funds have proven invaluable across the whole VC value chain.

I am running our latest fund initiative in Switzerland, the quantum tech fund. This includes deal-sourcing, investment management, as well as portfolio management.

When diving deeper into the quantum tech world around a year ago, I had a magic moment and became convinced of its unlimited market potential. The emerging quantum technologies use the laws of quantum mechanics to produce an exponentially higher performance for certain types of calculations and offer the possibility of significant breakthroughs across various industry sectors. QuantumTech could speed up our path to achieve net zero or simulate complex molecules for precision medicine, to name two examples.
